Mission Statement
A rudder is a small part of a ship that is used to steer the ship in the right direction. Like a ship's rudder the Rudder Foundation tries to steer much larger activities in what we feel is the right direction. In our 12 years of existence, we have applied our relatively small resources to guide a variety of different activities: rural libraries in developing countries that influence how rural schools are taught, low-price pure green homes that influence how building departments inspect homes, and other projects. Now we are focused on the problems of 55+ and low-income taxpayers faced with demands from the IRS and other tax authorities.
Rudder Foundation is a 501(c)3 non- profit, grant-supported service organization.
